We had the honor and pleasure of documenting Greta and Patrick's elegant wedding!

What a beautiful fall day for such an event.

We were blessed with fantastic weather, beautiful venue and people!

What a delight and honor to document Erik and Karen's big day!

The ceremony was held at the Carnegie Institute of Science... complete with bag piper.
The reception was held at the Old Ebbitt Grill in downtown Washington, DC.

What a treat to have cocktails served on the rooftop - an privilege to an amazing view!

The elegant place settings and wedding cake had touches of autumnal orange.  

The groom's cake, made by the bride (so impressed) looks like pizza.

The afternoon was filled with lots of dancing... boy, can they cut a rug!

Dominique & Ryan

It was an honor to be part of Dominique and Ryan's celebration on Saturday.  We met them early for "first look photos" and then a tour around Washington, DC with them and the bridal party for photos around the monuments.  Then it was off to the Carnegie Institute of Science for a beautiful and intimate ceremony... followed by a larger reception with lots of dancing and celebrating!  Here are just a few photos from their special day:

Mr. and Mrs. Yates

We were honored to be the wedding photographers for Mr. and Mrs. Yates, recently. Though the weather wasn't super favorable and sprinkled all morning (sometimes heavier than others)... everyone's spirits were high!  They are a lovely couple and so easy to work with.  It was a pleasure documenting their special day.

Julie

Julie, the blushing bride-to-be had us over for a short photo shoot.  Though her wedding isn't until May 1st, she had us over for  a formal portrait shoot in a wedding dress for submission to her mother-in-law's local paper.  We were delighted for the opportunity to meet and take pictures of her.  We had a great time and wish Julie and Jordan all the best!
