Melinda Jane is a Southern girl drawn to the traditions of storytelling.  She began her love of photography in 1993, shooting in film and learning editing techniques in the darkroom.  She now shoots mostly digitally and uses post processing software to achieve beautiful story-like qualities in her photos.  She has been published in the Oculus, Vol#2 1994 and the Marr's Field Journal, Fall/Winter 2001.  Her work has been shown in the Baltimore and DC area: Artist at Work: The Smithsonian Community Art Show (2008); Cellular Photography, ArtSpace DC (2007); Linear Harmony, photographs and paintings, Adams Nation Bank (2007); White Rose Show, photographs and paintings, Gallery 1448 (2006).

Brent has been taking photographs since 2005.  He has worked in many areas including corporate head shots, product photography for the Friends of the Smithsonian Institution's National Zoo's online catalog, engagement photos and has exhibited his work at Art Space Student Show (Oct. 2008).  He is self-taught in Lightroom, Photoshop Element and Photomatrix Pro.  Brent's photos have been featured as the winner of Nikonians.org Monthly Macro contest, "Photo of the Day" on several DCist.com posts, and various other online projects and blogs.  Brent is very active on Flickr and enjoys working with people.
